Hello, I’m Karin.
London was home for ten years. I built and ran my own company in the UK, led a team and worked in sales for many years. I learned to connect with people, earn trust and make a case that matters to the person listening. I’ve also been politically active and stood as a candidate for the European Parliament. I know the responsibility of standing up in front of a room, taking a position and finding the words to bring people with you.
300 people. Three minutes. One decision.
When I stood in front of 300 people to tell my story in a three-minute speech, I was nervous. My stage fright almost made me turn around and walk away. I spoke anyway. That moment changed my life and was the start of a new career.
Today, I’m Deputy Head of the Salzburger Verwaltungsakademie, where I lead educational planning and develop learning opportunities for an organisation of almost 3,000 people. Alongside this, I prepare people for presentations, speeches, interviews and important conversations, and develop communication workshops for entire teams. We work on what you want to say, how you deliver it and how you stay present when nerves or difficult questions arrive.
